To the Madonna of Barbana  
The excursion to the island of Barbana with a visit to the homonymous sanctuary is an easy and enjoiable track. The excursion starts at the hostel Domus Augusta and reaches Grado with a pleasant walk on the bike path. From the port of Grado you can get a boat passage to reach the island of Barbana and visit the Sanctuary. You can go back on your steps or go for a longer walk through the slopes bordering the lagoon on the west side of Aquileia.
